The Rowing Foundation support new oars

We are delighted to have been granted a major award of over £1000 towards a new set of lighter oars for the use of our nascent junior crew.

It has been brilliant to see a comitted group of local juniors coming out on the water over the past half a year and I know there are more waiting in the wings for a little more height or a year older.
Please note though that we need to make up the rest of the funding for the oars. The recent inter-club scratch racing from Pope's Quay collected over £100 and we hope some local buisnesses will come forward to support this great cause. Club members will also see a date in October for a 24 hour Erg challenge. Watch this space and Facebook for a Justgiving page.
