Please come along to;
- Have a drink with your rowing pals
- Hear about the year’s achievements and state of club finances
- Stand up to support the committee of trustees in the roles being vacated or created. These include;
- Chair
- Membership secretary
- Captain(s) - see below for more details
- Bosun
- Treasurer (Antonia has held this role for 3 years and our constitution dictates that others can offer to take over)
- Hear the plans being made for the future of the club and vote on next year’s fees.
Notes on the committee positions;
- If you have an interest in a role please mention to the chair or secretary in advance if you can
- Be prepared that more than one person may stand up for a role so have some talking points for what you will bring
- We have traditionally had both a men’s and women’s captain. We would like to have a single, lead, captain in order to streamline procedures though this individual could be supported by more traditional gendered captains. Further, as this is a more burdensome role, so this will no longer be a trustee position and is expected to be a one year tenure.
Further in the future is the Christmas party - soon there will be a sign up in Easyteams. Please pop your name down if going as we won't be able to hold it with insufficient numbers.
