Updated CPGA Proposal
The CPGA have updated their funding model. It's quite hard to reproduce the full details but this link may work.
Summed by by our Chairman:
The new proposal is for the £200 per Club levy to the CPGA to be replaced by one of £5 per member (£450 for 90 members), and for an additional £25 pa individual membership for competitors entering CPGA associated events.
This effectively leaves the original plan of £30 a head increase in place for competitors, but not for social rowers.
One could argue for a smaller levy per competitor, but I propose that we support the slimmed down plan.

CPGA proposal
Following the recent CPGA AGM which took place earning this year there has been some consultation taking place about creating some paid posts to support the development of the sport. In order to subsidise this they are proposing an individual membership cost of £30 per person.
